· Step 1: Cut Pictures to Size
Place a clear oval over the section of each picture to be used in the pendant. Draw around the oval with a pen or pencil. Cut each picture out.

· Step 2: Foil Ovals
Use 7/32” silver backed copper foil to 2 ovals. Position the glass in the center of the foil, wrapping the entire piece. Overlap the foil where the ends meet about 1/8”. Use a fid or lathkin to burnish the foil. Burnishing smoothes the edges of the foil and adheres the sticky side of the copper foil tape to the glass.

Step 3: Assemble and Lead Free Solder
Cut another piece of foil about 4 inches long. Place pictures back to back between the 2 clear
silver backed foiled ovals. Hold the ovals together; wrap foil around the ovals to secure them together. This will prevent the flux from getting in between the ovals and on the pictures. Lightly flux foil and apply a thin layer of
Lead Free Solder to all foiled areas.

Step 4:
Attach
Hanger
Solder preformed metal ring to the top of the pendant.

Step 5: Cleanup
Clean sparingly with soap and water and dry. A glass wax can be used if desired to polish.
