How to create a wire loop for Jewelry

Step 1: Using chain nose or round pliers, securely grip the straight end of the wire and slowly bend the wire to a 90° angle. Depending upon overall length desired, you may want to use wire cutters, to trim the wire to design length before creating loop.

Step 2: Grip the cut end of the wire with the tip of the round nose pliers; leave very little wire peaking through the barrels of the pliers.

Step 3: Rotate your wrist away from your body and using the thumb of your other hand, push pushing the wire below the base of the loop you are forming until the wire turns into a loop.

Step 4:  Final tweaks, if necessary, you may need to adjust the loop so it is centered.  Also, make sure you wire is flat and straight.
