This is a general purpose wire kiln ready for firing with your glass. remains strong in extreme heat of kiln firings and withstands high temperatures for long periods. We offer it in 17 & 24 gauge

The wire is a nickel chromium alum wire and remains strong in extreme heat of kiln firings and withstands high temperatures for long periods. Depending up on the glass content (minerals used to the make the glass color) will determine if there is any interaction to change the color of the wire.

We also off a copper wire (# 41229) and it will turn color due to the brass content.
