Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

· Step 1: Cut Glass. 
Cut 3 pieces of clear glass and dichroic glass 1/2 inch x 1 inch
Cut 4 pieces of clear glass and dichroic glass 3/4 inch x 1 inch

· Step 2 - Preparation
· Grind each corner. This will make the corners round when fired, producing a more finished look. Clean the glass pieces using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 3: Glue each piece of dichroic glass to each matching size of clear glass using a small drop of  Elmer's™ Glue to hold them in position.

Tip:  It is important to note that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by the outer edges when gluing to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass from your fingers.

· Step 4:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 8: Adding Jewelry Findings

This project uses a Gold Bracelet Jewelry Bail. Using Triolyse and glue each piece of 1/2 inch x 1 inch glass across 2 of the bracelet solid circles, making sure the links can be seen to either side.  Glue the 3/4 inch x 1 inch glass pieces on a single solid circle, alternating between each of the longer pieces.
