Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
Step 1:
Preparation
Clean Glass: Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.
Prep Mold: Apply a good coat of kiln wash to the mold set aside to dry.
Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) or cut
a square of shelf paper to cover the mold and fold the
edges under the mold.
Prep
Glass Pieces: Cut each Glass stringer 3 1/4 inches long. Clean pieces and dry. You
can use stringers and noodles. You don't have to make them
exactly 3 1/4 inches long, you can place smaller pieces end to end
to make a total of 3 1/4 inches long. Cut
a strip of clear fusible glass 3 1/4 inches long and approximately 1
1/4 inch wide. Measure from the top of the diamond to the
point and determine if you want the entire piece to be placed on the
clear glass or a slight overhang. We left a slight over hang.
