Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

· Step 1: Cut 2 rectangles of Glass 1 inch wide by 1 1/2 inch high.

· Step 2 - Preparation
· Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Trace the glass onto the back of the Dicro Slide ™, cut out and adhere to the top side of the clear base. Position the top clear glass on top of the Dicro Slide ™.

Tip: Position each piece of glass evenly on top of each other and let sit for a few minutes.

· Step 4: Prepare Project for Fusible Glass Decals
It is important to follow the instructions that come with your decals! Keeping you glass free of oil from your fingers is important.  Cut out Cat Silhouette decal.  Place in a small amount of clean water and using a pair of tweezers take the decal out of the water when it starts to curl.  Using a tooth pick, hold slide the decal of the paper back and position on to the top clear glass. It is important to remove any air from under the decal.  Some people like to use a squeegee but if you use too much water the decal may slide around (if yes blot with the corner of a paper towel)  You can also use the side of your tooth pick to smooth out the decal.  Let dry completely, over night is preferable, before the final firing. Even the smallest amount of moisture can steam the decal from the glass surface, resulting in a partial transfer.

· Step 5:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 6: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

Glue the pendant to the back using Triolyse glue.
