Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Preparation
Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln
Prep Mold: Apply a good coat of kiln
wash to the mold, set aside to dry.

Step 2: Full Fuse Plate Base Tip: It is important to note
that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by
the outer edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the
surface of the glass.
Stack the 7 inch precut circles on top of each
other on the kiln shelf paper/shelf and full fuse.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened
until the next day so your project has had plenty of
time to anneal back to room temperature.
|
Step 3: Decorate
Base with Chili Peppers
Place chili peppers in a circle on top of the full fused base. Use Elmer’s glue to hold them in place and tack fuse.

Step 4 - Prepare for Slump Process:
Take the kiln shelf out of the kiln. Using the kiln posts, set the kiln washed mold in the middle of the kiln. Place the tack fused project on the mold and slump fuse.
