FUSING SUPPLIES:

· Kiln Wash
· Elmer's™ Glue 
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
· Cold Polishing - (one of the following)
· Grinder 
· Abrasive Stone 
· Diamond Nail File
· 3M™ Diamond Coated Sanding Sponges

Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

· Step 1: Remove Glass. To keep from breaking the precut pieces of glass, remove them from the package using an X-acto knife.

· Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Step 2:  Preparation

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) to mold
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 3: Put Glass project together 

· Use Toothpick or plastic Cocktail fork to put 3 "tiny" drops of glue position the Glass Shamrock and the clear glass base, 3 in circle.

Note:  It is important to note that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by the outer edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass.

· Step 4:  Place Project on Mold and put into Kiln Using fingers around the outer edges of the one of the circle bases or better yet wear latex gloves pick up and center the base on the 5” Round Bowl Mold with Lip. 

Note: You will tack fuse ring dish in mold. Place mold directly on kiln shelf.

· Step 5:  Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature. 

· Step 6:  Finishing

Remove project from the kiln and release the ring dish from the mold. Use dishwashing liquid to clean the ring dish.
