Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt) 

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass & Metal Inclusion using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln
 

Step 2:  Place into Kiln
Stack Clear Heart on Lavender Heart Using Fingers around outer edges of the glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 3: Add Glass Dicro Dots 
Position the metal heart inclusion on the surface of the glass.  Using a market place a dot where you want each Dicro Dot.  Leave enough space on either side of the metal heart and place a dot of the painter's medium or Elmer's glue and using your Bead Tweezers, pickup and position each Dicro Dot, Dichroic side down.   Allow to dry completely and turn upside down to remove the metal heart before fusing.

Step 4:  Place into Kiln
Using Fingers around outer edges of the glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 5: Finish Project - Clean and dry the glass. Apply Triolyse glue to Metal Heart and position on to surface of heart between the Dicro Dots.  Wait until it is secure and then flip over and adhere the bail on back of the glass, positioning it carefully in the center or the corner. The glue will reach its maximum strength in 6 hours.
