Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
|
|
Step
1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass & Metal Inclusion using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
· Trace black glass heart onto back of decal. Cut
out and set aside.
· Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln
|
Step 2: Adding Glass Sparkle Paint
Coat Black Heart with Fuser's Glue and then sprinkle the gold sparkle paint
over the entire surface of the glass using the
Paint Sifter. When Fuser's Glue had almost
dried, pull the strips of dental floss straight up and
off the glass. |
|
Step 3: Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges
of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex
gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf
paper/shelf. Leave a minimum of 1/2"
(13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not
touch and fuse together.
