Step 1: Preparation
Clean Glass: Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent.
Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or
cardboard.
Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
or cut squares of shelf paper.
Cut
Dichroic Scrap to 2 x 1 inches, we used a transparent
piece.
Step 2: Assemble Glass
Using just
a tiny spec of
Fuser's Glue
and position the
oak leaf at a diaganol on the Dichroic rectangle and
then snap dark glass stringers and glue them to create
the veins of the leaf.
Let Dry completely before moving.
Step 3: Place Project into Kiln
Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass
project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and
place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.
