Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

Clean & Prep Kiln:
    Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Note: Chip the glass rods for the color of Frit Balls or use the Desired colored Frit.  See out tips and tricks on How to Create Frit Balls.

Step 2: Put Glass project together    Place each glass stringer on the glass snowflake with a "tiny" drop of Fuser's Glue to adhere each into position.  Repeat for the frit balls.

Cut a small rectangle of Dichroic.   Before placing on top of the white, cut a U shape wire for later and sandwich it between the white and Dichroic glass using Fuser's Glue.

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece.

Holding outer edges, turn up side down and tap lightly.

Step 3:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 4: Kiln Firing Process- Tack Fuse

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature  and it is ready to use.

Step 5: Adding Optional Hanging Finding
Attach the glass hanger finding to the top backside of heart using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
