Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass, Money Clip & Metal Inclusion using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

· Cut 2 of the 1 1/2 inch Dichroic Circles in half so they will match up evenly to the other Circle's half.

· Clean & Prep Kiln:
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2: Adding Glass Stringer or Noodles
Snap and position the stinger or noodles to fit across the seam of the 2 dichroic circle halves and add other 2 stringers/noodles across as desired.  Use Fuser's Glue to hold together and cap with Clear circle.  Allow to dry to at least 10 minutes or until bonded.

Note: By using 2 different dichoric circles cut in half and matched up alternating, you get two different color spectrums on each half of the circle.  It also means that you can make 2 for this project or a separate pendant.  We used a transparent stringer in a root beer color to lay over the dichroic glass and seam.

Step 3:  Place into Kiln
Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 4: Kiln Firing Process- Tack Fuse  - Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.  Position Black Bear as desired, centered.  You can use more Fuser's Glue if you want to insure it holds position.
