Fusible Glass Decal: Fusible Glass Decals pick your

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:
Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:
using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
· Cut out a Heart smaller than the 1 inch heart
and set aside
· Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2: Prepare Project for Decal
Remove the paper cover and soak
the Decal Cut out in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and
apply to the surface of or the clear glass circle, smooth
out any air bubbles and let dry 10 minutes.
Then place clear glass circle on top of the Dichroic
glass circle and those two 1 inch circles onto a black 1
1/2 inch black circle.

Let
dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece.

Step 3: Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges
of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex
gloves, pick up and place the project onto the top of the
dome mold, centered.

Note: If you do not get a full slump, you can
ramp up another 5 degrees (never more than 20 degrees more) and never hold more than 20 minutes
at any temperature.

Step 5: Adding Jewelry Findings
Attach
the slumped/curved glass,
using the E6000 glue, make sure the
glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center,
back side. Maximum strength is reached after 6
hours. Use a clothes pin to hold in place for 24
hours when glue will be fully cured. |
