Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:
Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
Step 1: Preparation
· Clean Glass:
using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
· Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln
Step 2 – Prepare Glass
Cut 6 x 6” white glass squares into 4 rectangles of 3
inches x 2 1/2 inches.
Run a grinder over all sides and round the corners.
Step 3 – Assemble Glass: Using Fuser's Glue, apply a tiny drop of glue
to each precut and center it on each white base glass
rectangle. Then break stringers for each precut
and using a tiny drop of Fuser's Glue to position. Let
dry before moving.
If so
desired, decorate with colors from Glassline paints.
Let dry. |
