Step 2: Assemble Bowl Base
Draw Star
pattern in the center of the clear Circle. Or we
used one of our large glass stars as a pattern.
Squeeze some Gold Glassline paint onto a paper plate and
with a wet brush mix well. Then apply stokes from
the star outward around the entire circle making sure to
cover all of the glass. Then using a wide tooth
comb, serving fork start at the star and pull outward to
create the stripes.
Let dry
completely and then brush off any excess balls of paint.
Apply
several circles of
Glastac adhesive to the surface of the white glass and
place the clear circle on top. Let dry at
least 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 3: Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges
of the fusible glass project or wear latex
gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf
paper/shelf. Leave a minimum of 1/2"
(13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not
touch and fuse together.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened
until the next day so your project has had plenty of
time to anneal back to room temperature.
|
Step 4 - Prepare for Slump Process:
Take the kiln shelf out of the kiln. Using the kiln posts, set the kiln washed mold in the middle of the kiln. Place
