Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Step 1:  Preparation
Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

Snap Green and Red Noodles and Stringers at approximately 2 1/4 inches long, enough to alternate around the entire the 5 inch circle.

Clean & Prep Kiln:
    Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Prep Mold: Apply a good coat of kiln wash to the mold, set aside to dry.

Step 2: Assemble Bowl Base

Apply several circles of Glastac adhesive to the surface of the white glass and then lay the noodles around the circumference of the circle in alternating red and green.  Let dry at least 10 to 15 minutes.  We also applied some left over red noodle scrap in the center to fill the white space.

Turn over white glass and repeat the steps above except with matching stringer. Let dry completely before moving.  Let dry completely.

Flip over with noodle design facing up and place the Clear Glass on top of the glass base.

Tip: Move glass pieces by the outer edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass and set into kiln on kiln paper or prepared shelf.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature.
Step 3 - Prepare for Slump Process:
Take the kiln shelf out of the kiln. Using the kiln posts, set the kiln washed mold in the middle of the kiln. Place Clean Glass project on the mold and slump fuse.
