Note: If you want to make this a functional plate versus just a decorative plate, then you will need to fuse 2 of the large round circles together prior to completing the project steps below:

OTHER SUPPLIES:
· Elmer's™ Glue 
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation

· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2 - Add Decorative Paint to Glass Back: 
- Use Glassline Gold Paint and Copper Paint, on the backside of the glass to create a varigated look by blending the two colors using a fan brush in long even strokes, let dry. 
- When dry, turn over and using Fuser's Glue position each maple leaf in the desired location.

Let dry for at least 30 minutes or more.

Step 3: - Prepare Glass & Apply Dicro Decal Designs tm
Soak the Dicro Decal Design tm for 20 seconds in water and then slide off the paper backing on to the surface of the clear base glass.  Let dry for 10 minutes.

Step 4: - Add Decorative Glass
Apply a thin coat of Fuser's Glue to the surface of the glass and then break up small pieces of coordinated color stringer over the entire surface. Let dry for 10 minutes before moving.

Step 5  - Place into Kiln: Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on to the prepared plate mold and place the entire project onto Kiln posts or a kiln shelf paper/shelf.  Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Note: If you do not get a full slump, you can ramp up another 5 degrees (never more than 20 degrees more) and never hold more than 20 minutes at any temperature.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature  and it is ready to use.
