Other Materials:
· Fan Brush
· Cold Polishing - (one of the following)
· Grinder
· Abrasive Stone
· Diamond Nail File
· 3M™ Diamond Coated Sanding Sponges

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

· Cut out facial features from black decal and curly cues for the clear circle.

· Clean & Prep Kiln:
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) to shelf and mold
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf & one to drape over mold later
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2 - Apply Decals:  Soak scraps of Dicro Slide in water for 20 seconds and slide onto surface of a precut Pumpkin to form the face and the curly cues onto the clear base, let dry.  Smooth out any air bubbles.

Step 3 - Putting Glass Together:  Because our glass circle broke we decide to work with it. If your is not then you would not need the glass frit and would not have to place in the kiln until assembled.

With a broken circle, place the glass in the kiln by picking up around outer edges and position each piece tightly together.

Position pumpkin with hat on top of it, onto the clear circle using Fuser's Glue position and let dry. Then cover the entire surface of the clear circle with a thin layer of Fuser's Glue. Sprinkle clear frit over all areas of the broken clear circle.  Take a brush and remove any clear frit from the pumpkin and around the outer edges of the circle on the kiln paper. This will avoid the forming of sharp edges or burs that will have to ground off later.  It is ok to place clear frit over the black decals.

Let dry completely.

Step 4 - Place into Kiln - Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.
