Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

· Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass and all findings using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 2: Prepare Glass
Trace the clear tear drop glass onto the dichroic glass.  Cut and then grind the dichroic glass to form a tear drop.   Clean and dry the glass.

· Use a tiny spec of Elmer's glue around the outer edge to adhere the clear cap.  Make sure it is evenly positioned before it drys.

· Step 3:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 4: Kiln Firing Process- Fire Polish

Always start with clean glass and bails to remove any oils. Apply Triolyse glue (see link below) to offset bail and center top position on back of glass. The glue with reach it's maximum strength in 6 hours.
