Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Snap 4 -2 inch black noodles, 8 -1 inch black noodles and equal numbers of green, yellow & red noodles at 1/2 inch or less, just make sure they are close to the same length.

· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) to shelf and mold
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf & one to drape over mold later
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2:  Glass Assembly: Center the Black circle on to the Clear Circle.  Find the exact center using a ruler measuring from top to bottom and left to right.  Mark on the clear glass as well.  This is where the longest, 2 inch, black noodles will be place to mark 12, 3, 6 & 9.

Measure equal distances between 12 and 3 and place 2 shorter, 1 inch, black noodles at equal distances to represent 1 & 2.   Repeat the process to represent 4 & 5, 7 & 8, 10 & 11.

When satisfied all are equal distances, use Glastac Adhesive to position them.  Let dry for 10 minutes.

Use Glastac Adhesive to position the red, green and yellow 1/2 inch noodles at equal distances all around the permiter of the black glass circle.   Save the left over pieces.

Using Glastac Adhesive, position all 3 of the glass Chili Peppers in the center of the black circle. Snap 3 yellow stringers glue as stems for the glass Chili Peppers and use Glastac Adhesive to hold into position.

Apply Glastac Adhesive on the center surfaces of each chili pepper.  Sprinkle yellow frit on one, Green frit on another and red frit on the 3rd.  Make sure to brush off any excess.

Sprinkle any remanding yellow, green and red small noodles pieces over the surface of the black glass only.

Step 3  - Place into Kiln: Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 4: Drill Hole in center of glass for clock to be placed.  
(See Instructions for Glass Drilling.) 

Step 5: Insert clock from behind, layer the washers, clock hands and then tighten the nut.

Step 6: Insert battery in clock and hang.
