· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
· Cold Polishing - (one of the following)
· Grinder 
· Abrasive Stone

· 3M™ Diamond Coated Sanding Sponges

Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)
 

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Cut the pieces of the scrap Dicro Slide ™ and set aside

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Use a toothpick or plastic Cocktail fork to put a "tiny" drop of Elmer's glue to the out edges of the red glass adhere the clear glass to the top/front side.. 

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece. 

· Step 4: Note:  It is important to note that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by the outer edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass from your fingers.

· Step 5:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 6: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

Step 7: Adding Jewelry Findings

Attach the clear red cabochon, to the centered of the purse hanger using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
