FUSING SUPPLIES:
Fusible Glass Decal (Hi Fire Black Scrap, your choice, we used gold fiber print for background and scrap for the leaf):

· Elmer's™ Glue 
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Trace the large Oval onto the decal and cut out, make sure to remove tissue paper & set aside. 
Note: It is important to follow the instructions that come with your decals! Keeping you glass free of oil from your fingers is important.

· Cut the curved pieces of the Dicro Slide ™ and set aside

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 2: Prepare Project for Dicro Slide & Decals
Soak the decal in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and apply to the surface of the glass.  Smooth out any air bubbles, repeat the process for the dicro slide and apply to the green apply

Use a toothpick or plastic Cocktail fork to put a "tiny" drop of Elmer's glue to adhere the Apple to the top of the front side of the Clear Base. 

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece. 

· Step 4:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 5: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

· Step 6: Adding Jewelry Findings

Attach the clear vinyl Tie-Tack Back, on the back near the top of the clear base so it will be hidden behind the hat and more centered to support weight of the face and pin, using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
