Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass: Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent.
Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or
cardboard.
Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
or cut squares of shelf paper.
Break up small pieces of Dichroic glass.
Step 2 – Assemble Glass
Using any
pattern, place over circle and using a sponge stamp gold
glassline paint onto pattern and pill off pattern while
the paint is still wet. You could also free handl paint
your design.
When satisfied with design,
use
a tiny spec of
Adhesive
Glastac
on the
clear cap. Position it to align all edges of the Yin Yang and push together. Let sit and dry to hold all pieces into
position.
Note:
Elmer's™ Glue
is not recommended as it will not burn off cleanly in
the center area and may leave dark spots under the clear
cap.
Step 3 - Place Project into Kiln
Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass
project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and
place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.
