Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Preparation
· Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
-
Using a tiny spec of Elmer’s Glue
position each flower on White Circle Base.
Let dry for at least 10 minutes or until flowers do not
move.
- Stack
your 1/2 circles on top of the Black Eyed Susan center
to
make the cap handle
and use a tiny spec of Elmer's glue to hold them
together. You can make the handle as high as
desired. Our project used 1 and a COE 96 black
pebble on top. Let dry for at least 10 minutes
before moving.
· Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper 1/2 inch larger
than the circles
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln
· Prep Molds: Apply a good coat of kiln
wash to the mold, set aside to dry.
Step 2: Full Fuse
Set both prepared glass circles
into the kiln to fire. Tip: It is important to note
that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by the outer
edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass.
Place on top of the kiln shelf paper/shelf and full fuse.
