Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

· Clean & Prep Kiln:
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2: Prepare Project
Break or Cut Red & White Glass at lengths so do not cover the center where you will place the yellow frit.

Use a tiny spec of Elmer's glue to hold them in place.

Let parts dry for at least 10 minutes until they do not move.

Step 3: Add Enhancements

Using red stringers, snap them into pieces and using a small drop of Elmer's glue them on the white scrap.
Lightly cover the open center area with a light coating of Elmer's glue and sprinkle the yellow frit over it.

Let parts dry for at least 10 minutes until they do not move.

Then turn upside down over a paper plate or towel to remove excess frit and place it back into container.

Step 4:  Place into Kiln
Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 5: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature  and it is ready to use.

Step 6: Slumping Process- Clean glass and lightly cover the yellow frit with another light coating the yellow frit.
Place the mold in the kiln and centered the fused glass over it.
