Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Cut out decal: Place Heart on backside of decal, trace and cut out.

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 2: Prepare Project for Decal
· Take the Decal cutout and soak in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and apply to the glass heart, top side.

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece. 

· Step 3: Prepare Glass
· Take the Glass Dove pieces, place a tiny dot of Elmer's glue on the edges, bottom side, of the dove.  Position and let dry for at least 10 minutes before moving piece. 

· Step 4:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 5: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

· Step 6: Adding Jewelry Findings

Attach the glass hanger finding to the top backside of heart using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
