Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:  Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.

Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) or cut squares of shelf paper.

Transparent Dichroic Scrap Cap for Pink Heart: Place the pink or lavender heart on the smoothest size of the Dichroic Scrap glass and trace, then cut. Then place the lavender heart over it where it will overlap and trace and cut off the upper right lope.
Tip: If you have a corner, place the tip of the heart in it to help reduce the amount of cutting.

Clear base for Lavender Heart: Lay the pink hear over the upper left corner of the clear or iridescent heart and trace it.  Then cut off this portion of the clear heart.

Prep Dichroic glass for Lavender surface:  We took some  clear Dichroic glass and crushed it to sprinkle over the lavender heart.

Step 2 – Assemble Glass

Using just a tiny spec of Adhesive Glastac or Elmer's™ Glue, position the
Lavender hear on top of the partial clear base.
Slide the pink heart under the lavender heart
Position clear cut heart shape Dichroic glass over the pink heart

Make sure all pieces fit tightly together. Let sit at least 20 minutes until dried and pieces hold together before moving

Lightly cover the Lavender heart with Gastac or Elmer's and sprinkle the clear crushed Dichroic glass over it.

Step 3 - Place Project into Kiln

Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.
