Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Crush the clear Dichroc glass in a small zip lock.

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 2: Assemble Glass
· Using Glastac Adhesive, place a few drops in the center of on of the Star of David and then place the other on top.  Position in alternating positions for the star points.

Place project on a paper plate. Apply a coat of Glastac Adhesive to the center surface of the top Star of David and then sprinkle the clear crush Dichroic Glass over the center. Let dry about 20 minutes or until Glastac has dried.

Recycle any crushed dichroic on the paper plate back into the bag for storage.
 

· Step 3:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or wear latex gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 4: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

· Step 5: Adding Glass Hanger

Attach the glass hanger finding to the tip of one star point using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
