Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:  Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) or cut squares of shelf paper.

Place the black heart on the smoothest size of the Dichroic Scrap glass.
Tip: If you have a corner, place the tip of the heart in it to help reduce the amount of cutting.

Trace the heart on the scrap glass and then cut.  Grind if needed.
Tip: It is better to have the Dichroic scrap slightly smaller than the clear than  larger than the clear cap, especially if the Dichroic glass is textured.

Step 2 – Assemble Glass

Using just a tiny spec of Adhesive Glastac or Elmer's™ Glue, position the Dichroic Heart on to the black pre-cut heart.

Step 3 - Place Project into Kiln

Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature. 

Step 5 - Glue Jewelry Bail for Hanging

Attach the glass hanger finding to the tip of one star point using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours E600 requires 24 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue) .
