Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:  Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) or cut squares of shelf paper.

Cut a rectangle of scrap Dichroic and the same size of clear.
Small size:  1 inch long x 3/4 inch wide
Large size:  1 1/2 inch long x 1 inch wide

Step 2 – Assemble Glass

Using just a tiny spec of Adhesive Glastac or Elmer's™ Glue, position the pre-cut hearts with the points facing inward and then place the rectangle dichroic on top of the heart tips hanging over about a third of the hearts.  Place the clear rectangle on top of the dichroic glass.  Make sure to align the rectangles and the hearts are straight and then let the glue dry until holding together enough to move.

Step 3 - Place Project into Kiln

Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or better yet wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature. 

Step 5 - Step  Glue Jewelry Bail for Hanging

Attach the glass hanger finding to the tip of one star point using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. E6000 requires 24 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)

For use as a Dog Tag attach Charm Lanyard to bail eye and then loop the string around the collar and loop the charm back thru to hang.
