Clean Up Supplies:

Step 1 - Initial Preparation
Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
    and Shelf Paper into Kiln
 

Step 2: Prepare the project:   Using the Copper paint, brush onto just the tips of a Large Glass Star. Let Dry approximately 20 minutes then put the paint side down.

Place the second clear star on top of the the copper base star so you can see where the center and points line up.  Apply the Copper Circle design and then Apply Gold paint to the tips and add pattern in opposite directions of the copper paint.  Let dry approximately 20 minutes.

Flip the Gold star over so the pain on both stars faces down.  Make sure to alter directions of the stars so the tips of the stars do NOT line up but alternate.  Using small spec of Elmer's Glue align stars. Mark sure the Elmer's glue is position to be positioned to the out edges.

Let dry for at least 10 minutes before moving piece. 

Step 3:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Make sure to leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 5: Adding Jewelry Findings
Attach the glass hanger finding to the top backside of star tip using the Triolyse glue.  Make sure the glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center, back side.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
