Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass: Using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard.
Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) or 4 ½ inch x 9 inch square of shelf paper.
Clean & Prep Kiln Shelf: Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer) to the Flare Sushi Mold.

Step 2 – Assemble Plate
Using just a tiny spec of Elmer's™ Glue, position the clear 4 x 4 glass on top of the white 4 x 4 glass. Place the 4 x 4 glass on kiln shelf. The 2 sections of 4 x 4 glass should be touching. Sprinkle or position confetti glass pieces on top of the clear glass as desired.

Step 3:  Place Project into Kiln – Full Fuse.

Hold/Temp   5°F/ 3°C 955°F / 513°C 10 min. Hold Fire
Cool/Temp   Do Nothing 100°F / 38°C N/A DO NOT LOOK

Step 4 - Place Project into Kiln for Slump

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature. Place mold on small kiln posts to it is elevated slightly in the kiln. This allows for proper air flow around the mold during the slumping process. Place project on mold and slump using the below schedule.

Hold/Temp   5°F/ 3°C 955°F / 513°C 30 min. Hold Fire
Decrease/Temp   3°F/ 2°C 750°F / 400°C 1 min. DO NOT LOOK
Cool/Temp   Do Nothing 100°F / 38°C N/A DO NOT LOOK
