Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:
using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
Lay circle on back of Decal, draw around it with a
pencil, repeat with a smaller circle in an offset
design.
Cut out the decal and the center circle.
Using center circle of decal draw it onto the back side
of the Dicro Slide tm
slightly larger. Cut out the Dicro Slide
tm and set aside.
Now take the small decal circle and cut
it down to half the size.
Clean & Prep Kiln:
Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2: Put Glass project together
Take the Decal and soak
in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and
apply to the front side of glass. Then apply the
small decal circle.
Take the Dicro
Slide tm circle and soak
in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and
apply to the back side of glass to fill the clear circle
opening left from the decal. There should be no
clear glass left in the center.
Remove all air bubbles and let sit for 10 minutes before
moving.

Step 3: Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges
of the fusible glass project or wear latex
gloves, pick up and place the project on the kiln shelf
paper/shelf. Leave a minimum of 1/2"
(13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not
touch and fuse together.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened
until the next day so your project has had plenty of
time to anneal back to room temperature and it is
ready to use.
Step 5: Adding Jewelry Findings
Attach
the glass
hanger finding to the top backside of heart using the Triolyse glue. Make sure the
glass is clean and dry and when placing it on the center,
back side. Maximum strength is reached after 6
hours. (Read
