Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1 - Preparation
Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

Lay glass on back of the Dicro Slide tm and using a pencil draw shape, cut out, and set aside.  Repeat for glass decal of choice.

Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

Step 2: Prepare Project for Dicro Slide
Take the Dicro Slide tm pieces and soak in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and apply to the front side of black glass. 

Repeat for glass decal but apply to front side of Clear glass used for cap.

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece. 
 

Step 4:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

Step 6: Adding Jewelry Findings

Attach the sterling silver ring pad to the back of the glass.  We suggest centering and making sure that it is straight when the ring is on the end of your finger before using the Triolyse glue.  Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)

Clean with rubbing alcohol.  Do not resize ring multiple time to avoid metal fatigue or breakage.
