Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Step 1 - Preparation
· Clean Glass:  using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Place Oval on backside of Decal and trace around it with a pencil. Cut the  Decals, remove the tissue paper & set aside.
Note: It is important to follow the instructions that come with your decals! Keeping you glass free of oil from your fingers is important.

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 2: Prepare Project for Decals
Take the Hi Fire Decal, soak in distilled water for 20 to 30 seconds. Slide and apply to the front side of the
Black glass base.  Smooth out any air bubbles..  (Read the Glass Tips & Tricks for application)   Let drive for 20 minutes.

· Step 3: Put Glass project together  Use a toothpick or plastic Cocktail fork to put a "tiny" drop of glue to adhere the Pink Ribbon Glass on top of the Decal/Base glass.

Let dry for at least 20 minutes before moving piece. 

· Step 4:  Place into Kiln Using Fingers around outer edges of the fusible glass project or  wear latex gloves, pick up (supporting the hat and place the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 5: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened until the next day so your project has had plenty of time to anneal back to room temperature  and it is ready to use.

· Step 6: Adding Jewelry Findings

Make sure the glass is clean and dry. Attach the Bar Pin Back, on the back near the top 1/3 rd of the clear base so it will be support weight of the pin and lay flat when worn, using the Triolyse glue.   Maximum strength is reached after 6 hours. (Read the Tips & Tricks for using Triolyse Glue)
