Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:

Clean Up Supplies:

· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

· Step 1: Cut Glass. 
Cut 11 pieces of dichroic spirit glass 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch
Cut 11 pieces of system 96 striped glass glass 1/2 x 3/4 inch

Notes: Start with cutting strips of glass 3/4 inch wide and then cut every 1/2 inch and break. Also, we cut our striped glass using the pattern in the opposite direction of the pattern on the spirit glass. Since the Dichroic Spirit glass has a lot of transparency the stripes will show thru in some areas.

· Step 2 - Preparation
· If any piece of glass does not have a smooth edge, run it over your Diamond Hand Grinding Pad or a grinder.  Clean the glass pieces using Alcohol or Dish Washing Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of paper or cardboard. 

· Clean & Prep Kiln: 
    · Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
    · Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
    · Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf and Shelf Paper into Kiln

· Step 3: Glue each piece of dichroic Spirit Glass to each matching size of system 96 stripe glass using a tiny spec of  Elmer's™ Glue to hold them in position.

Tip:  It is important to note that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by the outer edges when gluing to avoid finger oil or prints on the surface of the glass from your fingers.

· Step 4:  Place into Kiln Place each piece of the project on the kiln shelf paper/shelf.   Leave a minimum of 1/2" (13 mm) space between each project to ensure they do not touch and fuse together.

· Step 5: Kiln Firing Process- Full Fuse

· Step 7: Adding Jewelry Findings

This project uses a Silver tone Bracelet Jewelry Bail. Using Triolyse and glue each piece of the 1/2 x 3/4 inch glass piece on a single solid circle.
