Small Fused Project step-by-step instructions:
Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1: Preparation
· Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.

Use your scissors cut out strips of Dicro
Slide ™ Apply the Dicro
Slide ™ to the top side
of the glass. (See our
Tips & Tricks for using Fusible
Dicro Slide ™)
- Place
Clear Shell Base over White Shell Base with the Dicro
Slide ™ on it.

Using a tiny spec of Elmer’s Glue
rows of white frit to the top side of the Clear Sea
Shell Base. Note:
If you choose not to slump in mold the frit will all you
to use the flat shell as a coaster or spoon rest. Note
2: Use
of the Dicro Slide and White Frit is optional. We
used them to create the effect of the natural veins of a
shell.
· Clean & Prep Kiln:
· Apply Kiln Wash (Shelf Primer)
· Cut Shelf Paper to fit shelf
· Place Kiln Shelf Supports, Shelf
and Shelf Paper into Kiln
· Prep Mold: Apply a good coat of kiln
wash to the mold, set aside to dry.

Step 2: Full Fuse
It is important to note
that you need to make sure to touch all glass pieces by
the outer edges to avoid finger oil or prints on the
surface of the glass.
Place on top of the kiln shelf paper/shelf and full fuse.

Step 4 - Prepare for Slump Process:
Take the kiln shelf out of the kiln. Using the kiln posts, set the kiln washed mold in the middle of the kiln. Place the
prepared fused project on the mold and slump fuse.

If possible, leave the kiln sit unopened
until the next day so your project has had plenty of
time to anneal back to room temperature and it is
ready to use.
Clean and it is ready.
