Clean Up Supplies:
· Rubbing Alcohol, Dish Washing Detergent
· Cloth with very little lint (old T-shirt)

Step 1: Preparation
· Clean Glass using Alcohol or Dish Washing
Detergent. Then dry and set aside on a clean piece of
paper or cardboard.
· Cut out Snowman Stencil, leaving at least a 1/4" of
boarder
· Clean & Prep Inflatable Booth:
· Blow up Booth
· Place Booth on large piece of card
board or cloth so excess sand can be recycled
· Place Light directly over booth |
Step
2: Prep Glass project
Position stencil where desired, making sure it is
straight
Using removable Painter's masking tape, cover the
boarder areas of
the stencil.
Spray the back side of the stencil with a light coat of
hair spray, not the tape.
Position the stencil on the glass. Note: we positioned
center knot of bow over the hole.
Cover
the rest of the glass with painters tape, holding it in
the center of the paper plate.
Repeat above steps when reusing heart design. Tape off
the ribbon portion of the design so you are just sand
etching the hearts the second time, positioned lower,
under the first hearts. |

Step 3: Place into Inflatable Booth
Using short blasts of air not more than 1/2 inch from
the surface of the glass. Etch the open areas of the
stencil. Do no use constant pressure or the canned
air will freeze up.
Hold the
paper plate horizontal the light to see if there are
any shiny area that need more sand etching.Step 4: Cleanup |

Remove all the tape and stencils while under
water. Dry with paper towels being careful not to
scratch the glass.
