KBW Glass Cruise
Conference to Alaska
May 17th, 2013
The cruise is a few short weeks away we hopeto see you there for the 4th Annual Cruise!
There will be glass related tours before the
cruise in Seattle, so plan on coming a few days early! I highly
recommend you also reserve the onboard glass
workshops you want, now, as they fill up and are only around $50. Many
of the lectures are free! Classes do not
interfere with the ports of call so you will get the best of a vacation,
glass education, relaxation and fun, fun, fun!
When not in class or on shore, you will find the Glass
networking with fellow artists is fantastic! There really is
never a lack of things to fill your days, from the fabulous spa
onboard,
to 5 star dinning and even Hot Blown Glass demos by the Corning
Museum, memorizing as always.
Many of the blown glass creations made by the Corning Museum glass artists
during the cruise, as well as vendors and other fellow artists, all graciously donate
items for the KBW Foundation
auction. Funds are put towards for Art Glass Education
projects sponsored by the KBW Foundation. The auction is not
to be missed! It is always held on the last night of the
cruise and it is a very exciting and special
way to wrap up the conference!!!
